I rece ntly was introduced to a new GPS vehicle tracking system called Millinnium Plus GPS vehicle tracking systems. I was very skeptical regarding these systems due to the prices and unreliable technology. I was looking through Ebay for a decent low cost system to put on my teenagers truck to see where he was and to basically monitor his behavior. I found a website for the Millinnium Plus unit and I thought about it for about a week. I decided to buy one and had it installed on his truck without his knowledge. I can now monitor all of his movements and driving habits, track his speeds, see actual satellite photos of the vehicle location, and even disable his starter so he can't start the truck. After the installation, I was able to track him via the internet. I started to feel bad about the fact if he knew this system was installed on his truck, he would feel violated and not trusted. As a parent I feel like I need to have a way to see where he is and if his driving habits are reckless and try to correct them. In the long run I am glad I purchased the system and think more parents should do the same. If he misses curfew, I can log on and see where the hell he is. Is this violating their personal space? With the rash of teen drivers dying as a result of high speeds and poor driving habits, is it our right as parents to oversee their behavior, and stop it before it becomes deadly? We certainly would intervene if we discovered they were using drugs. I feel we need to do more as parents and try to prevent a problem before it becomes a problem. With this system I feel I can do that. I have said a couple of things to him regarding his speed on occasion, and he denies driving that fast, and tells me he's a safe driver, also he asks how I know about certain things and I tell him, I am always keeping my eyes on you to guide you and protect you. If you are a concerned parent, and have teen drivers, I highly reccommend you looking into this awesome technology. The website I purchased my unit from is listed below.
