Nokia created the 6080 with a 24 chords ringtone player, ready for you to add all the ringtones you wish. If you like phones that uses skins you will like to know the 6080 supports custom themes. The gaming system included in the Nokia 6080 runs on J2ME, providing cool games to play with! Unsurprisingly, as it is available in all cell phones nowadays, the 6080 supports both SMS and EMS.
We'd like to say that the Nokia 6080 is cheap, but we feel that Nokia's proposed cost of 180 Euros before taxes and subsidy is overpriced for what is essentially a very basic phone. The 6080 would be better suited in the Nokia ''2000 series'' of bargain basement devices, rather than the mainstream ''6000 series'' of phones.
The Nokia 6080 comes with a compact camera of 0.3 MP / 640 x 480 px / 4X Zoom / Video Recorder. This phone arrives with a 820 mAh Li-Ion battery, enabling a talk time of 3.50 hours and provides in standby mode 300 hours. Its creators added a 16.0 MB memory, just enough for a regular use! A cool thing of the Nokia 6080 is the speaker phone, which is always useful in loud places! The large screen is capable of setting wallpapers of 128 x 160 px.
The user can contact others by using the push to talk feature which works like a walkie talkie & allows the user to communicate with others by using this user friendly feature. The user pushes the push to talk button & remains holding down the button to talk to others. The user can hear others talking back to them when the push to talk button is released. The phone has a built in microphone & speaker so that the user can use the handsfree speaker phone to communicate with others without having to hold the handset to their ear. The user can use voice commands to activate selected features & to call others by using the voice dialling feature with this bluetooth Headset.
The user can use the countdown timer when they feel the need too & work out their budget with the built in calculator feature. The Nokia 6080 is an attractive & well featured mobile phone that will be enjoyed by its user.
